Doug Nelson took the challenge and created a lollipop made primarily from honey. We shipped him 10 lbs of Jamaica Plain honey, and in less than a week we had beautiful pops made from a master candy maker.
Doug has a small shop in Wilton, New Hampshire. There is no website. You have to go there. And that's a good thing! When you walk in you feel like you are walking back in time. Lots of dark wood, and loads of handmade candy in glass cases, on shelves, and in production right in view of the customer.
It's worth a trip. Just be ready for a serious chocolate and sugar high!
